Hi,
i found out, that the Asus RT-AC68U (rev. A2) seams to have a firmware-bug if running in repeater-mode together with my Asus RT-AC88U router.
Regarding the 2.4 GHz-band the RT-AC68U chooses the wrong channel (2 instead of 1), although my RT-AC88U router is set to channel 1 (using same SSIDs for both). As a result, the other networks of my neighbours on channel 6 are unnecessarily massively disturbed.
Regarding the 5 GHz band the RT-AC68U works correctly as channel 100 is selected (analogous to the RT-AC88U) router.
In addition I talked with Asus support already, as their standard-firmware has the same bug (version 3.0.0.4_380_7378-g7a25649).
Can someone help me regarding this issue?
