I wish to acquire an LTE modem to use as a WAN connection.
I currently have a decent enough router with integrated switch and IEEE 802.11ac wireless access point.
I desire a product that works well and that can deliver at least LTE Category 6 speeds.
This is my first time to acquire a product of this type.
What is the most bang-for-the-buck alternative that is at no less that decent quality?
Would it be better to acquire an an all-in-one type device such as what are today marketed as "wireless routers" that include a router, Gigabit Ethernet Switch, an LTE Modem, and IEEE 802.11ac support? Comparing the prices of the LTE modems to what are marketed as "wireless routers" that include LTE modems, it would seem that such "wireless routers" may be cheaper, while delivering the LTE modulation for the WAN.
