Have any future to support the RP-AC68U/get it to work smoothly/safely?

I don't plan on supporting the RP-AC68U, sorry.

I had the same question but after a while i decided not to buy one.
The is no more benefit in AP mode I think.
Only if LACP will be posible on all 4 ports. (Bundled of two teams ) Asus doesnt support it sadly.

So I went off.

Too bad no RMerlin support. I have one of these, works fine in repeater mode. But I find that the "ExpressWay" modes are so broken, that it would be nice to have someone that's good at fixing bugs take a look at it *smile*. The Netgear EX7000 worked perfectly in "FastLane" mode, so I expected the RT-AC68U to work fine in their ExpressWay modes, but no, of course not. So it goes. I'm having to use it in regular repeater mode until they get ExpressWay mode working right.

Asus's QA group seems to have fallen asleep, not to mention the design group.

Good luck to me *smile*...currently praying for new firmware, and I'm normally not a religious person.

But, does it work if I use it with an RTAC3200 flashed with your latest firmware (or should I flash the asus firmware on the RTAC3200)?

In particular I'm referring to the seamless bridging technology for which this repeater needs to be connected with another asus router.

It shouldn't matter if you run the original firmware or mine on the RT-AC3200.

My experience with the RP was the same as RogerSC's, and "Expressway" was just broken. Yes, it would have been nice to have an alternative firmware for the RP, but all things considered, it's a flawed device and I found it much easier to use and configure the RT-AC66U and 66UB1's as repeaters/bridges/AP's (and far more flexible and thus, more useful). Considering the now low price of the 66U's (below $100), it made no sense to keep the RP, so I returned it. First truly disappointing experience with an Asus product.
