Cannot reach AC86U's UI but router & WiFi works fine

Hello!

After about a week following a reboot, my AC86U router's (running Asuswrt-Merlin firmware 365.2) UI suddenly cannot be reached anymore. Browsing to the router fails with a timeout, both on my Mac and the ASUS Android app. Yet all WiFi clients remain properly supported, and a speed test gives expected results. As stated, a physical reboot solves the problem for about 5-10 days...

I suggest you upgrade the firmware to RMerlin 386.5_2 first and see if the issue continues, first.

Does a scheduled reboot within the GUI also solve this issue?

If it does, that indicates to me that a full/proper reset is in order (i.e. the router is not in a good/known state).
