Cannot reply?

Hello, I wanted to reply to last thread's post which was submitted less than a month ago but keep getting this error:

Oops! We ran into some problems.
You cannot reply to threads older than 6 months. Please start a new thread on this topic.

Can someone please advise why they can respond but not me?

It may be that the thread has been locked by an admin. This sometimes happens when a long-dead "zombie" thread gets resurrected but with circumstances having changed a new thread would be preferable.

If the thread was started more than 6 months ago and has 500 replies, it can no longer be added to. Been this way for a few years now.
