Can't decide Asus RT-AC66U_B1 or RT-AC68U

Hi! Can't decide wich one i get. The RT-AC66U_B1 its never version with 1 GHz dual core cpu, according to wikidev, thus RT-AC68U, from what i read has better coverage. Will use 50/25 connection + IPTV, 4-5 wireless devices , smartphones, laptops. Need stable connection.

Both of these should be nearly identical in terms of coverage/performance. They both have external antennas, except the RT-AC66U_B1 aren't detachable.

Newer RT-AC68U use the exact same CPU as well (BCM4709C0).

Or better RT-AC86U, because RT-AC88U get very slow speeds throw open vpn (10-15 Mbps on 100/100 connection) maybe?

The RT-AC88U should be able to reach around 70 Mbps with AES-128-CBC.

The bad thing in my country Bulgaria is that 90% of the sellers don't write in the description witch version is any Asus router i.e. B1, R, P and so on.
How I can choose the right router then? I want 68U but new version with 1 GHz dual core not 800 MHz, or
some sellers write that they cell B1, after I send I request for more info, but how i can be sure 100%, asking many sellers the answers, old versions, they don't know exactly for sure is the answers i get recently..........

As far as I know your current RT-AC88U has a dual-core 1.4 GHz CPU. So surely an RT-AC66U_B1 or RT-AC68U would be worse than what you have?
