Anybody running Cisco's FindIT software? I have it installed and running tracking firmware updates. It looks like it can do more. It also looks like you can load a Raspberry PI with probe software for FindIT for multiple sites.

It may just be for the newer small business hardware. I don't know. I do have a Cisco RV340 router in the mail.

I would like to know more on what it can do. Does it cost money to use at home?

I have the FindIT software loaded. It is free. I am not sure about the probes.

I may have to undo my router VLAN so my Cisco router can run in the management VLAN and be discovered by the FindIT software without the probe. Without the probe the FindIT software only discovers one VLAN. This way I can see what it can do. What it really tracks.

The FindIT software works great on tracking firmware. It also finds all your Cisco hardware without knowing the IP addresses of your hardware. You right click and it opens each piece of Cisco hardware in a window so you can log on to it and make changes. It so much easier than remembering hardware IPs.
