Comcast/Xfinity Wifi Hotspot repeater in Merlin?

Does anyone know whether it's accomplish the same thing in Merlin as this solution in Tomato:

5ghz would be the repeater, and 2.4ghz would be the AP.

I don’t know why it wouldn’t be possible. I’m just curious how well/long it works without being a PITA.

I don’t know why it wouldn’t be possible..

I don't see an option to set 2.4Ghz as an access point while I'm simultaneously using repeater mode on 5Ghz. Take a look at steps 8 and 9 from the link.

Merlin's firmware does not support wireless client mode so this will not work.
