Hello,

I have managed to find QNap NAS'es in Turkey, and though they're very expensive (even without drive), I looked up the SNB reviews of the TS-110 and 119.

Strange thing is, the TS-110 seems to have a higher "write performance" than the TS-119 on the smallnetbuilder review. It's also reviewed in 2010, while the TS-119 was reviewed in 2009. I first thought it could be a "newer" model.

The CPU and memory of the 119 is higher, and looking up the NAS comparison table at the QNap website there is no difference in features either (except TS-110 has a fan and thus the "smart fan" feature).

I googled it up and some folks on the QNap forums say the TS-119 should be faster and the reason TS-110 got higher write speeds was probably because it was reviewed with the new firmware. Even more confusing is that the TS-110 is slightly more expensive in Turkey, so I wondered if it was somehow the "better" of the two.

Am I right, that with very close prices (in fact a bit cheaper for TS-119) the TS-119 would be the logical buy?

Thanks in advance!
