couple of questions on samba + transmission/usb mount

Router is N66U

Q1: how do I hide the entware flash drive from showing up in Samba shares on the network? i have drives connected to both usb ports on the router. one for entware+transmission and another for storage. Storage drive shows up fine, but i don't need to use the entware on the network. is there a way to hide this drive from the network?

Q2: whenever I reboot the router and look at transmission's webgui, files show an error message saying "no data found, ensure your drives are connected", but when I hit the start button torrents go back online no problem.

i followed this guide to install transmission: https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin/wiki/Installing-Transmission-through-Entware

but , then i've also read people talk about jffs, scripts, post usb mounts, etc. and that stuff just goes over my head.

btw figured out the transmission issue.
added "sleep 1m" to s88transmisison file in /init.d ... (https://www.snbforums.com/threads/d...ait-for-the-usb-disk-mount.34861/#post-282235)

seems to be working fine from initial testing
