CPU spiking due to [mtdblock3]

Does anyone know what this process is



What led me to this was I noticed cpu usage being higher than normal.

After some quick checking I decided to run a scan on my usb drive which runs AB Solution. This was the issue seems there was some corruption on that drive and I had to pull it out scan it then remount.

However I noticed really high usage to that process above.

I had this issue, i forgot how i got around it but i think I install htop, and looked at what was called by mtdblock3, and i just killed that service. The service would restart anyways, but it fixed it. Wish i can be more helpful, but was for sure a service that is reading from that block too much for X reasons.

edit: after thinking about it, it was one of the ai-cloud stuff or something around it. I ended up just disabling all those gimmicks and it went away, because every once in while the problem came back and the perm fix was to just get rid of it.

The AI could app has stopped working for me on my phone and when I forget the router and try to readd, it will just fail so you maybe on to something.

I noticed this once too - on the earlier alpha 2 build I think, RT-AC3200. I didn't pay too much attention as a one-off but will report back if it reoccurs. I didn't have lsof etc installed
