AFAIK flashing back to stock is only really recommended when running into strange unexplainable behaviour or in case of a bricked unit (although it couldn't hurt either, better to be safe than to be sorry). Definately a factory reset and clean rebuild (so no cheating by using backed-up configuration-files as these could corrupt with such a big version gap) though.Noticed my R7800 is at firmware Voxel V1.0.2.60...I've apparently been neglecting for a while, and it has been super solid.
I would like to update to this current version, but some posts re-updating allude to first updating to more current stock firmware, then updating to current Voxel for such a change. Not currently using any of the add ons. Is there anything special needed to upgrade other than a direct firmware update (per Voxel read me) thru the router interface, a reset, then rebuild the settings with such a jump?
Thanks
Recently there has been a situation where @kamoj (rightfully) decided to revoke access to the add-on by moving it to a new, undisclosed location which isn't for us to share/distribute. If you would like to regain access I sugest reading the last couple of pages of the now locked thread regarding the add-on, and sending a well-written PM to kamoj (and hope he'll let you back in the program).I was able to download the latest voxel firmware release (112SF/R7800), however, following the docs the https://www.voxel-firmware.com/Downloads/Voxel/Kamoj/.urls/list2.xyz.txt I'm unable to download the lastest add-on (5.5b44), getting a URL not found error.
Can someone point me to the working URL/list file.
Thanks,
-Nigel
