Changes (vs 1.0.2.43HF):

1. Problem with Plex reported by Bartman is fixed (util-linux "taskset" was lost, missed in LEDE Makefile).
2. libxml2 package is upgraded 2.9.4->2.9.5.
3. expat package is upgraded 2.2.3->2.2.4.
4. confuse package is upgraded 3.2->3.2.1.
5. wget package is upgraded 1.18->1.19.1.
6. libubox package is upgraded 2017-02-24->2017-06-17.
7. curl/libcurl is synchronized with OpenWRT/LEDE.
8. Some changes in kernel config for SMB2.
9. Host tools: several patches are added (genext2fs lzma m4 mkimage)

Thanks to Bartman for his testing. According to his experience, he has to do full factory reset (I did not).
Also thanks to psychopomp1 for his test of DFS channels.

Any idea if this router can read APFS. I know it works with Mac OS journaled but if not can you add support for it?

HFS/HFS+ should be supported by this FW. Regarding APFS: there are no kernel codes in this firmware for this FS. To say true I even do not know if any Linux supports this FS...

If using time machine it should for the time stay as HFS+ as only High Sierra can read drives converted to APFS this was in the release notes for High Sierra. There is no benefit for time machine or any other mechanical external drive to be APFS yet. As to external SSD's I would keep them as HFS+ as they are as I believe not converted by High Sierra anyway and once again compatibility with other macs comes into play. I only have a internal 1TB SSD which was converted but the mechanical 3TB external drive was left as HFS+ which is fine. Things may change at a later point when Fusion drives are included in APFS.

Info for Entware users: Entware is upgraded. It is enough to run:

Code:
/opt/bin/opkg update
/opt/bin/opkg upgrade

to upgrade your version.

On 1.0.2.44HF-HW has anyone else noticed that the 2.4 and/or 5ghz radio LED is switching off randomly (occasionally) despite said radio working perfectly? This is easily fixed by enabling LED again under advanced settings>LED control but suspect it might be a bug in Voxel's fw as this behaviour doesn't replicate itself in stock fw.

Well, I did not touch LED control: it is pre-built binary. I have vice versa behavior: all my LEDS are set to OFF, but time to time I get AD LED is switching ON. The same remedy from GUI.

Hi Voxel,

Many thanks for your continuous efforts.

I do have a problem that I would like your help if possible.

I've got a R9000 connected to a Negear GS724T switch using a dynamic Link Aggregation IEEE 3ad.

Every thing is setup correctly but it's not working.

According to the switch the LAG the Link is down.

If I make the changes to static all works.

In the netgear firmware this configuration is possible. This is one of the reasons I've bought this router.

By some reason this is broken in your firmware.

Any chance you can fix this ?

I can help you test what you need.

regards

Luis Meira
