I have a wifi device which I have assigned an IP in the DHCP page to, as many others.

Although, this device is not showing in the network map, despite the fact I can ping it with the correct IP address, the interface works and so on, so apart of that it is ok.

Any idea where this could come from? I have to say this device gets tot the Asus through a powerline WiFi extender, but I have others that have no issue.

thanks,

M

I have the same experience, when devices connect to my router through a wifi extender they don't show up in the Network Map, just a number on the wifi extender shows up.

You gave me the idea to check the powerline... I should have thought about that. Infact, there was no bit going out, only in. So i just rebooted and now it works.
Now i have to develop a quick script to reboot it periodically to avoid the issue.

Thanks !!!
