Devices on the network keep changing their name and wifi stop working from time to time

I previously asked you whether you were running scripts or YazFi but you never answered me. From your log file it looks like you are running YazFi.

Hey!

Sorry I understood that if I was running any custom scripts? I understood by that anything that I've done myself. Yeah, I'm running YazFi and a couple of others.

Thanks for your answers and your time. I'll ask that in the YazFi forum :)

YazFi would add the reflector lines with #YazFi , so I'm not sure how they got there.

EDIT: They're also running an older version, 4.0.3 contained some changes in this area IIRC

I just updated… should I do anything else?

Should I change the
Code:
[reflector]
enable-reflector=yes

to no?

Any assistance is appreciated.

Looks more like mac-os being stupid and annoying as usual. Why it does this I have no idea.

Hm YazFi should delete that if you dont have guests with 1 or 2 way configured. You can delete both lines completely
Hey!!

I had guess wifi configured like that and I just changed those settings, let's see.

I really don't knot if it's really that or something acting up in the router. It's not only macOS, but also iOS and tvOS.

I don't know if this is related, but I've seen that message before when any of my Mac laptops were using wireless and then I had to plug an ethernet cable into it at the same time. It automatically changes one of the connections to avoid any conflicts.

It's has sense and it's the same issue. All of the suden there si two computers with the same name. In your case it's because you're over the wireless connection and connect the cable.

In my case it's probably because either the computer disconnects and reconnects and the precious connection is still in the router as a ghost connection or something is acting up in the router and it keep signaling to the devices that there is other device with the same name.
