I've just received an RT-AC68U router and immediately uploaded Merlin's latest firmware and did a reset.
I have 16 devices I'm trying to load into the DHCP and on my first attempt I loaded all 16 then hit apply. When the page refreshed it was as if it didn't accept any of them.
I then started over and only loaded one device and tried to click on the plus symbol to add it to the system and then I was going to hit apply and do each one this way however I could no longer click on the plus sign. Also theres a drop down box for mac addresses that would no longer click to open.
I have a 2012 iMac so this was initially done in Safari. My next step was to try this in Chrome which netted me the same result, I could no longer add a device. I should also note at this point when I go to the DHCP screen it doesn't load the navigation menu to the left in any browser I have and that goes for Firefox which was my last browser I attempted this with and netted the same results again.
I power cycled both my mac and my router and still couldn't add a device and still didn't load the navigation when on the DHCP page. I then held the reset button on the router and set it up again and I was able to once again add devices which i did one by one by clicking on the plus symbol and then clicking apply on each one. Then I got to about my seventh device and when the page refreshed it showed nothing there as if I hadn't added anything and refreshing the page did not correct this.
Am I missing something here? I haven't set up anything on the router except the SSID and the passkey for the WIFI prior to attempting to assign IP's.
Any help is appreciated.
Edit: Also mention that I typically copy and paste info from a notepad but have even manually typed in the IP, Device Name, and Mac address and still couldn't click on the plus sign to add a device.
