Not sure if someone mentioned it, but when using f then 2 to get highlighted dnsmasq log, colors are missing. But when you do the first color setting - it can be used the same color as before, then after this the log is colored.
All fixed with the Diversion 5.4.1 update.I am having the exact same issue when using f then option 2. I first have to select option 1 "Follow Unfiltered log", ctrl+c, then select "2. Select other follow option > 2. Follow Unfiltered log extra highlighted", and now colors are back again
WAN > DNS Server > Assign > Manual Setting.I have noticed this:

On my RT-AX86_Pro
There is nowhere to find "Connect to DNS Server automatically" to set it to "No"
Have you tried disabling DATA on your iPhone just for a quick test? Maybe the ads is pulled thru data? I have no idea, just guessing. I know Apple products are special, my AppleTV gets all the ads on YT while no ads on other devices... but lately YT is really trying hard with ads and it's becoming complex to block those because server-side injection is what they use now. It's not blocking ads on my iPhone but it blocks ads on my MacBook. Both devices connected to the same 5Ghz band.

In the WiFi section of your iPhone did you disable the tab that say Limit IP Address Tracking? My iPhone has no cell service at this time. I don't watch YT video on my iPhone, but ads on websites aren't being blocked.
When I'm using my android phone, ads are being blocked on websites.

The Limit IP Address Tracking setting on iOS can interfere with ad blocking functionality on your router running Merlin firmware with Diversion. This feature, when enabled, can bypass your router’s DNS settings and ad blocking capabilities.
Sounds like you need to manually block the domains listed below inside diversion. My iPhone has no cell service at this time. I don't watch YT video on my iPhone, but ads on websites aren't being blocked.

Agreed, having the domains blocked will make sure if the setting accidently gets turned back on, that your router will block the feature itself. It is then force to use your router for dns.Problem has been resolved in a simpler matter and I will add your domains to my list. Cheers.

Is this a function that gets altered by iOS updates behind the user's back? (not respectful of user choices)
Wondering if this needs constant attention after updates. (Bluetooth OFF seems to stick now going from 17 --> 18.)
Thanks.
I actually had to turn On that option, even after a fresh install of iOS.
Which part are you responding to, wifi or bluetooth?

So, what did you do that was simpler? post #71
