DNSMasq seems to ignore dhcp-host option in dnsmasq.conf.add

Hi,

trying to set static hostnames, IPs by mac-address with dhcp-host=ab:cd:ef:gh:ij,Server1,192.168.1.10 .
Setup as per Merlin's tutorial and then made executable -rwxrwxrwx.

• Any error messages in /tmp/syslog.log?
• What's up with the CODE tags?
• Does dnsmasq ignore your dhcp-host specification for the router LAN interface which is the DHCP server?

So you have defined a whole dnsmasq.conf and an add. version? Thinking add is only supported if you are not defining the whole file, i.e. it only works if you are adding to the stock file.
You can use an include file off the main one to achieve separation of config if you want that.

Ok, reset ASUS and it's working now for DHCP leases.
