Domain Web Hosting Provider

Can anyone help me out here. We are unhappy with our provider and looking to switch our domain elsewhere. However, when I try to do research online, it seems to me that most of these so called reviews or top rankings are generated by the hosting companies themselves.

Can anyone recommend companies or even direct me to reputable websites/forums that discuss this sort of thing.

This is a very hard question to answer. A lot depends on what you expect from a host provider and why you are unhappy.

Like someone told already http://www.webhostingtalk.com is good place to see what other talks about hosting domain providers.

From my perspective, used various providers for both domain registration and hosting, and cheap but good are underhost, loving hosting, xtraorbit. All 3 of those I am dealing for more than 5-6 years and never had problems.
