DS 212 Good for Multi-user and Ubuntu/Windows workgroup

New Around Here
Hi, everyone. Can DS 212 can create multiple users on a workgroup of 35 PCs combined with Ubuntu and Windows terminals? That these multiple users have their private folder.

Major function or feature would be:

1. Ubuntu / Windows client interface or file manager or disk station assistant
2. The client interface or file manager accepts multiple user login
- example: user1 logs in to the client interface & have live access of his files and logout
- user2 logs in to the client interface & have live access of his files and logout
- user1 logs in to the client interface from a different terminal & gain live access to files
3. Access NAS via web browser over internet / lan

"Terminals" above means computers- Windows, Linux, MAC OS, right?

I believe the answer to your questions are all yes. The Synology remote access (router/firewalls-permitting), can be about 3 different ways - one being a very nice browser-based file upload/download with drag-and-drop via an AJAX user interface.

Try out the user interface on the Synology web site- there's an on-line NAS as a demo.
