DSL-AC68U: Wifi TX Rate drops to 5-7 MBit/s after FW Update

Hello!
I did a research but couldn't find anything about the problem i am facing with the DSL-AC68U.
As the topic says the TX rate of the wifi drops down to 5-7 MBit/s on both the 2,4 GHZ and the 5GHZ Band.
This issue first appeared after upgrading the firmware to version 3.0.0.4.382_50302
I tried downgrading to 3.0.0.4.380.7712 - 3.0.0.4.380_4291 but the issue remained.
What else did i do? Doing a NVRam Reset, Flashing the router in recovery mode, flashing the router via gui.
All settings on default except i turned off TX- Bursting now as a test.
Currently 3.0.0.4.382_50302 is installed because as i said downgrading did not solve it.
NVRam Reset -> GUI Flash -> Reboot -> NVRam Reset -> Configuration was the last attempt.
Can't really figure outthe pattern: from almost 4 days working to 1-2 Minutes.

Tried to turn off "airtime fairness" on both bands.
Router log shows following after a good hour uptime:

Why are people still using this router for DSL connectivity? IMHO it should be banned for sale at least in the UK, judging by the number of FTTC (vdsl2) lines it has messed up due to the notoriously unstable Mediatek DSL chipset it uses.

As the world is almost larger than only UK or US, and there are regions where it works just perfect like for me in the past (now got supervectoring/vplus so had to change modem only for that).

I know some or even many got problems with their carrier, but for others running without any troubles and they would like to have AiMesh too.

We should love to have new features >5 years !!!
And they all could still use it as pure router!
 
At the risk of stating the obvious, the TX rate is so bad because the signal strength from your router is so low. -95dBm :eek: I'd have to stand 3 houses away from my router to get a signal strength that low.

Check that the antennas are attached tightly and that the sockets aren't broken (rotating around and around on the case).

He has RSSI -53dB, that -95dB is noise interference signal.
