DSL reconnect

Hi, i need a script for scheduled reconnect to DSL , no complete reboot, only restart WAN or so, to get new IP from my Provider. Is that possible with ASUS RT-Ac87U with Merlin?

Ok, but this is not scheduled.

For every router that can connect to internet by authentication has an option to disconnect when idle in the WAN settings. This was made to reduce bandwidth usage for those with limited internet.
You can use this to get a new IP regularly. I just dont get why you would regularly want a new IP unless you were doing something sinister.

Internet Providers in Gemany reconnect the Internet connection every 24 Hours. To "move" this reconnect permanent to a specific time (4:00 at Night) i need this script.
