Enabled Guest WIFI is gone after reboot

Hi,

I went through manual but did not find the answer. I have latest merlin firmware on my N66U and I enabled/configured a Guest WIFI. It was running and I can connect to it with pre-defined password. However I found it is gone/disabled after the router rebooted. I could click the corresponding Enable button to have my Guest WIFI settings brought back though.

So is this by design OR I should click a specific button to save the configuration?

Thanks,
/S

No one??

Here is further on what I found: it seems like the guest WIFI will stay enabled for the length of time I configured (4-Hour) and then auto-disabled.

So this is what should be by design...

Try setting it to limitless, that's what mines on and it stays after reboot. I assume it's because you have it set to 4hours, but I'm only guessing.

Would the parental control work over the guest network to restrict time ?

I don't know.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked parental control page on the latest stable merline firmware, it indeed will restrict certain client time but requires mac address...which wont work for the guest WIFI.:)

RT-AC66U
I have seen same behavior.
My guess is that at reboot date time is not correct and this makes guest network expired.
