Hi. Have a rt-ax86u (not pro). Back in December I changed the old usb storage stick for the Patriot burst 120GB SSD referenced in many posts here. No complaints using the stick but it only had flexqos and was getting old.
Formatted the SSD with all the recommended settings via amtm. Set it up with entware, diversion, NTP Merlin chrony, led control, 2GB swap, flexqos, ddns asuscomm. Worked ok for about a month and then one day I noticed that DDNS was not updating any more, diversion was not blocking and the clock had drifted. Upon investigation I found error message that entware could not be found.
Tried reinstalling it but no go. Ended up removing all other apps via SSH, reformatting the SSD to defaults through amtm, and then reinstalling. Works ok for another month and last week same error again. Diversion says Entware not found. Won't reinstall. Format everything and reinstall and I am back up and running.
Any thoughts on what is up with the repeating disappearing entware? On the latest Merlin release available at the time in both cases.
