Hi,

I have a question I might have missed in the Wiki's. When installing Entware is there a way to have the updated package be the default on the install build, rather than what came stock?

Thanks,

J

The system by default should make the entware packages higher priority than the system default libraries.

Issue the command echo $PATH

Code:
# echo $PATH
/opt/bin:/opt/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/home/admin:/mmc/sbin:/mmc/bin:/mmc/usr/sbin:/mmc/usr/bin:/opt/sbin:/opt/bin:/opt/usr/sbin:/opt/usr/bin

/opt is the symbolic link to the entware directory. Since the libraries on /opt are listed first, they get the priority over the default install libraries.
