I took an old router and disabled the dhcp and trying to use it as a wireless extender over a netgear powerline adapter.
I set the router as static ip, main router is 192.168.1.1 so I set it the remote to 192.168.1.222 to keep it way away from my other devices.
I have the router plugged into one of the 4 ethernet ports not the internet port.

When I plug this in the whole network goes bonkers.

What do I need to do to get this working?
