I have 2x RT-AC88U setup with AiMesh - and things seem to be working OK, but I see these types of errors maybe twice a day and cannot find the root cause:

I opened a ticket with ASUS support and they are indicating a hardware problem but cannot explain exactly what is breaking. I am reluctant to send in for repairs since this is my 4th unit and seems to be the most stable. (The other units all had problems with the 8-port network switch failing)

Anyone have any pointers or additional triage steps before I send "yet another unit" back to Asus?

THanks.

Seeing the same on AC68U. It's a firmware problem.

I agree with you - but is ASUS aware this is a firmware problem? IE - are they working on a fix (or any ETA for it)? Asking since I have asked in many variations to their team -but ASUS seems adamant this is a hardware problem. If, in fact, it is a hardware problem, there is no reason for me to send anything back.
