New Around Here
Hi i kind am new to the forums and a very unique question.

My house use to have surewest fiber internet and luckly enough it has an ethernet ports in most of the walls in each of the room. Now i have comcast internet and my question is their anyway to bypass the fiber unit and just plug one port of my router and it will allow the other jacks in the other room to get net access.

Just to make it simple plug an ethernet cable from my router and plug it into one of the ethernet port and allow the other ports in the house work and obtain ip from my router?

You will need to place a switch where your patch panel is and connect all the rooms to the switch.
