Asus is probably both (busy with new future products and big updates to the 382.xx branch).

pete y testing is correct though. Very hard to fault what we have right now. From the RT-N56U to the RT-AC3100, not too many things to complain about (excluding the ongoing RT-AC87U that is still not 'perfect' for a lot of people).

Yeah, I'd agree here..my AC56U has been working flawlessly with the last update from May..not sure what could be improved to be honest

That's a terrible design.. I do understand they have to limit the max power output to what the FCC says however they should still give the ability to either have it at that max allowed or turn the power output down to coexist with multiple other AP's.

My personal guess is, lawyers looked at the FCC documentation, and saw that the FCC said they are forbidding allowing users to change the power output, rather than specifically forbidding them to "increase" it. So lawyers being what they are, they did what they do best - do all kind of silly things just to cover their asses against ANY risk of legal recourse...

As atlantistm posts - there is seriously issues with AC3200. Need to reboot daily to have a steady wifi.

Use the Merlin firmware then, I have never at any time seen a problem with WiFi on my AC3200, the router works flawlessly.

omg does the FCC doc really forbid "change" rather than "increase"? If so, that is dumb as hell.
