Flashing Update how to disable

My router is RT-AX58U V2 , I noticed the update now button flashing but when I try to update it directs me to 404 page file not found
The update is 3004.388.8_4-gnuton1 , I'm using 3004.388.8_2-gnuton1 right now
Can I stop update button from flashing?

Yes. Manually download and update. 388.8_4 includes some important security updates. When it comes back up disable the automatic check for updates in Administration>Firmware Upgrade.

Can I stop update button from flashing?

Yes, disable new firmware check in GUI and in SSH:

nvram set webs_state_flag=0
nvram commit

If you visit AiMesh GUI page though - it will start flashing again. AiMesh does new firmware check regardless of your settings.

You quoted the wrong version so I assumed it was a release.

3004.388.8_4-gnuton1

I didn't know either. Had to check, got surprised it's still in alpha stage... not even beta.
