I just tested this today, and I see the same issue with the latest signature update. So it’s not just your router.

Is there a solution or do we have to wait for a new update to arrive?

Hopefully a new update will come. I had a JFFS backup with signature version 2.400, and that restores full functionality for now (until the nightly signature check).

For now, you can download the old signatures:

wget -O /jffs/signature/rule.trf https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireless/ASUSWRT/WW_FULL_2400_un.zip
service restart_wrs

I assume they will remove this older version eventually, so save it in a secure place and update the file after any future update.
