are there any "off the shelf" solutions that others have used on the D-Link DNS-323 like freenas or openfiler that work properly?

since debian works, one would assume that there is a good chance that there might be a solution like this that would work correctly. i have debian installed, but i miss the web interface that makes the configuration and ongoing mgmt. of the unit so easy.

a quick search of dns323 + openfiler / dns323 + freenas didn't yield any answers.

thanks in advance for any/all replies or suggestions.

dustie,

thanks for the suggestion, that actually looks pretty good! it's not a NAS centric OS, but would potentially allow me to tweak Debian down to a manageable size.

Thanks!
