Do you all think it's OK to do a dirty update from 384.17 straight to 384.19? Or should I install 384.18 first?

I am running an AI mesh with AX58U router and AC5100 node.

Can't find that second model you're indicating. Maybe you're talking about the RT-AC51U instead?

In any case, take a backup of the JFFS partition and the current config along with the firmware version currently on the router and then flash the firmware you want (the special case is for the RT-AC86U, so it doesn't affect you) and just be ready to do a full reset if necessary.

Oops! The node is the AC3100.

As for the JFFS, I have no idea what that is and if it applies to a plain old vanilla setup I have. Meaning no apps, scripts, or doodads.

FWIW I just went from 384.17 to 384.19 without a reset and my 68U is working fine. I also run Diversion+Skynet and don't have any problem.
