Hello,
I am facing a problem with the DNS on a Google TV (Walmart Onn box).
Router RT-AX86U Pro 3004.388.8_4
The Ovpn client has Accept DNS Configuration set to Exclusive.
The Google TV always uses the routers default DNS, no matter the settings. DNS-over-TLS on/off, Prevent client auto DoH on/off, DNSSEC on/off, DNS Director on/off, DNS specified in DHCP for Google TV, DNS manually configured on Google TV
The Google TV does not use DoH or DoT, as I can make the DNS servers change by changing the defaults on the router.
If I add a second router and put the WAN ip of that on the VPN director, and use that as AP for the Google TV, I will get the correct DNS server from my VPN provider.
I have tried everything I can think of. I would prefer to just use the ASUS router and not need an addition device to stream.
It has worked before, this occurred after an update of the router or Google TV.
