GT AX11000 pro tainted P

I have the GT AX11000 pro and always use stock firmware. Anytime I always manually download the latest firmware. In the case, the latest one when check for latest firmware update it says " could not retrieve firmware info/update from server ". This is what my logs show right after I try to check for updates. I've tried all restore/revert back to factory from soft to hard rests, with rescue mode as well. I've seen other similar threads but I don't use Merlin or any other info provided on that thread. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is this a hardware issue where I should send it in or do you guys have any tips on what I can do to avoid Asus RMA.

It's the firmware_check process that's crashing. That's all that you can tell from the log entries. Most likely to be a software bug.

You may have to go through RMA after every firmware update then. There is always something broken in firmware. Just wait and they’ll fix it, eventually.
