GT-AX6000 - What is the difference between 3.0.0.X firmware vs 9.0.0.X ?

Hi !

I just upgraded my RT-AC3100 for a GT-AX6000. At this time I'm still exploring with official ASUS firmware before I start looking into merlin's.

What is the difference between the 3.0.0x and 9.0.0x ? I under 9 is beta but why there is nothing in between ? 4.x 5.x 6.x 7.x 8.x ?

Do you recommend sticking with 3.0.0x or move to beta 9.0.0.x

Public 9.0.0.x beta is for evaluation/marketing purposes. This firmware won't be released for months. Use 3.0.0.x stable releases for now.

In my experience, the Beta 9.xx has been faster and more stable than the latest official firmware.

I installed the beta the day I installed my AX6000 a couple weeks ago. Runs fine, no issues, mix of AX and AC clients.
