I wonder if the FCC is accepting 6 GHz validation submissions yet. Or if that lab is equipped to start testing that frequency.

Could be that the 6 GHz channels will be enabled on a per-country basis, depending on which country allow/validate the use of that band.

Yes i would assume if there labs can test the upper 5G band they could easily make adjustments for 6G. The client side is what worries me. They seem slow to get adapters and wifi cards on the market. AX has been out for some time and clients are still scarce.

Agree on the channels, They will be there waiting for firmware to open them up as regulations change.

I had to return ZenWifi AX (XT8) as 160mhz wasn't available to me for the backhaul making it a useless mesh system.

So looking forward to ZenWifi AXE (hopefully with 2.5gb LAN and link aggregation on LAN)

Likely just way more money then i plan on dumping on a router. Have not even heard a mention of any 6e clients to go with the new router and the price tag for those. I will wait. Nice to see there wasting no time in releases.

I think a jump from 1GBit to 10 Gbit would be nice but so far 1GBit internet service seems plenty and in my case and likely OK for the next 10 years...

All 6 GHz channels will not be available in all regions. The U.S. regulations are set, so I don't know why the test results are not in the FCC test report.

I’d like to dump the two 802.11ac access points in my house for 6ghz 802.11ax... the price of these is high but what really kills it for me is they are huge and ugly. Where do people hide these monstrosities? or do they treat them like art?

Buy a paper-thin 'art' poster (or three). Create a pedestal to hide not only the power and LAN cables but to also hold the router and the 'art' too at the right height, alignment, and orientation (make sure to match the poster to the angle it will be seen at too). Sure, not what many people will do, but done right, there is no ugly.

With three or four 'posters' or other WiFi friendly materials, join the ends to create a triangle or square with the router in the middle. On a pedestal, this can be 'art' when done tastefully and with imagination.

Blue cave have a good form buy its not their mainstream router..
