Spent the last two weeks not thinking about this router, until your post.
I've been following the "goofy looking" antennae-swapping thread :)
Currently waiting patiently to discover if the router will be enhanced by The RMerlin FW, which is most important to me, prior to a new router purchase.
Agree. Wasn't really clutching my pearls...just noting the passage of a milestone. But, yeah, if RMerlin can't offer support on this model eventually, that'd be a big factor to consider...especially as he now does support the AXE11000. I'm holding an entire redo of my network infrastructure to multi-gig, waiting on the 16000 also.

Must be some serious issues
There is: a worldwide pandemic, causing widespread component shortages, employees having to work from home, and on top of that an autocrat launching a war right in the middle of that pandemic.

Everything is getting delayed these days. The planet is currently a big dumpster fire.

Sad, but true. I’m not unaware of the state of the world. In addition to my network overhaul, I’m also in the middle of a two month wait for components for a new rig I’m currently building, so like everyone else I’m living with it. My inquiry was really just about potential issues with the h/w or f/w and whether you’ll be able to include the 16000 in your supported products or not. I’m trying to make as good a decision as I can, same as I do for my clients, The more information I have when making those decisions, the better.

I don't have anything to announce at this time regarding support for this model, sorry.

^^^ This.

Might be? It already is!

There's still no change of status regarding the GT-AXE16000. 386.6 is about the GT-AX6000 and XT12 only.

and @L&LD
That is my intended meaning in Post #27
No Pushing from me, I am patiently waiting for the release of this product, then patiently waiting longer for details of any RMerlin support.
Like I've got money for a sweet router like this :(

Oops!

Dear Sir, I stand corrected!

I have from a reliable source the GT-AXE16000 should be available at the earliest by the end of this month but more likely in May. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for the update. I sure hope you're right. I can deal with May...the parts for my new rig prolly won't be in until May at the earliest also (CPU, GPU, PSU), so all the upgrades are waiting on parts.

That router at the front is the GT-AX6000, and the two at the back are the Zen WiFi Pro XT12.
Sorry, I was trying to imply that as we haven't seen a picture of a GT-AXE16000 on your table it may not be released soon and will be even longer before we see it supported by you since it was late November when we saw that picture and your beta for them just came out. :)

This page is still up.
The Tech Specs page has much more information than before too. This router is not going away.

Improved Processor (and the accompanying updated software) and the 2.5/10GE Ports are reasons I've been watching this model, yet just noticed the 2GB DDR4 RAM, which is nice.
