Has RT-BE92U "wrong" CPU?

I have the BE92U and live in the U.S. With me, I'm always in a odd spot when I need upgrades, or want to try new hardware to see what benefits I'll get from it in my particular setup. I already had an RT-AX86U that's stable, but was concerned about future firmware updates going forward regarding security. Also, I have faster tier plans available to me, that I fully couldn't take advantage with on the RT-AX86U only having a single 2.5G port. So for me, the BE92U was a reasonably priced device to give me multiple 2.5 ports. Also giving me the 6Ghz band for my current iPhone15 Pro Max which is 6e compatible. It just made more sense to go with a WiFi 7 router over a 6e one at this point for 6Ghz since 7 will be the new standard going forward, and I wouldn't have to buy again for 7 compatibilities when I needed them.

Also, I follow the rule of always hard wire when possible, so my only wireless devices are iOT which don't have a wired option and my phone. The iOT are all on 2.4ghz except for the google nest audio. Anyway putting that aside, I live in a 625 sq ft apartment and my previous apt was around 855 sq ft, I believe. Either way whenever I read up on 2x2, vs 4x4, and since I've had both types of routers, I've never personally noticed a difference in my setup between either. On the topic of this thread though, I did notice the BE86U had a 2.6 Ghz CPU over the 2.0 one in the BE92U, so I thought a dual band having a slightly faster CPU than a Tri-band was a bit odd. However, comparing the RT-AX86U to the BE92U, the only real world differences I saw were the Ethernet speed differences on the faster ports, and the slightly improved speeds on the phone because of the newer standards. Beyond that, everything else is about the same. One other thing I forgot to mention, I wanted the new ASUSWRT upgrades the older router wasn't going to get in terms of managing iOT devices and other guest ntwork functionality.
