I just got of the phone with asus and they told me its the same router as the u and they told me the the u stand for universal and the A stands for AmazonI wouldn't bet on that. Even for the $65 cheaper over the expected 5+ years of use, I would still buy the 'real' Asus RT-AC68U model we know and trust.
Proof or speculation? I googled it and found no definitive information.yep found it with googling... A=amazon exclusive
Thanks. Yeah, that could be. Just don't want to assume anything. If it's just an Amazon branded version of the same router that's already out there, then why the delay in release? Thought someone here might know the skinny, have an inside track... [emoji6]No proof sorry, its based on what i found on Google
Yeah, well I searched for threads with. RT-AC68A in the title and didn't find any. Can't read every post before starting a new thread. I tried...
Yes, it would be good if @hacked_up added RT68A to the title.Yeah, well I searched for threads with. RT-AC68A in the title and didn't find any. Can't read every post before starting a new thread. I tried...
I can't think why Amazon would be selling it this cheap unless it's packed full of Amazon adverts, like their Fire products.I wonder if it will have its own fw like the Costco Netgear R6900?
