On Qu 2, have you tried - for troubleshooting purposes - removing the usb stick then rebooting the router and then finally plugging the usb stick back in?

I found the solution for my question 1 but let me aff details for my question 2.

I reformat and started from scratch, install ab solution, then entware, no problem then i need to instain tht plex server, so i install entware ng, then debian, that seems to be at this poipo that i get read onlo problem, any clue?

Make sure you understand what you are doing.
- You installed AB-Solution and likely pixelserv through it. This installs Entware-ng by default.
- Then you want to run a plex server and you seem to reinstall Entware-ng from a separate script.
This separate script makes the whole AB-Solution installation pointless and very likely also deletes some of the user scripts in /jffs/ that AB-Solution created.

There is no need to reinstall Entware as AB-Solution already installed Entware-ng for you.

Edit: Could you post a link to the Entware and/or plex install instruction you used?

My suggestion:
- Install AB-Solution and pixelserv-tls through it
- Create a 2GB Swap file in AB-Solution by entering swap in the menu.
Then:
Go to https://www.hqt.ro/plex-media-server-through-debian-arm/
- skip step 1, 2a and 2b
- continue with step "opkg install nano findutils"
-skip step 1a and 1b at 3 - Setup Debian Jessie from.. they are already done
- do the rest of the tutorials.

Bon chance!

Hello,

I have followed your step and everything was working fine, I rebuilded my library in Plex and went to bed.... This morning... Read-Only this is a copy of the log after i rebooted

I really hope someone can help me

I can see that in the log, do you think that could be the issue

Feb 12 07:17:16 kernel: EXT2-fs (sdb5): warning: mounting unchecked fs, running e2fsck is recommended
Feb 12 07:17:16 hotplug[716]: USB ext2 fs at /dev/sdb5 mounted on /tmp/mnt/AB-Solution
Feb 12 07:17:16 usb: USB ext2 fs at /dev/sdb5 mounted on /tmp/mnt/AB-Solution.

I'm not sure how to fix that

Try this first:
Administration/System, set "Enable JFFS custom scripts and configs" to No.
This disables running custom scripts when booting, making sure no files on your device are used.
Reboot router, then run the Health scanner on all devices.
It should fix most if not all problems. It will report what it found.
Then re-enable custom scripts and reboot.

This is your second try. One which I have permanently installed on all ARM routers I have to test out ext4 file systems on them.
If you read all that is written there, yes that's me that late nite tech talks about in that wiki.
It took a while but the next major version of my ad-blocking script will have the mentioned religious things fixed. Finally.

This is what i'm getting when i'm doing the scan:

AB-Solution contains a file system with errors, check forced.
AB-Solution: The bad block inode looks invalid.

AB-Solution: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY.
(i.e., without -a or -p options

I never used the fsck...

Thanks for your help

use that script I mentioned, maybe it'll fix it. Or maybe your USB device has reached EOL and needs replacement.

Great and simple tip, should have known this a long time ago, would have saved me lots of time getting everything to stop to be able to unmount my thumb drive and scan it manually.

One remark: it appears that, when using dnscrypt-proxy (and both WAN DNS fields are empty) you don't have an internet connection when no custom scripts are started. Should you need it, just make sure that in WAN > WAN DNS Settings > 'Connect to DNS Server automatically' is enabled or fill at least the first DNS server manually with a DNS server like 208.67.220.220 (Cisco/OpenDNS) or 8.8.8.8 (Google) and press apply. Don't forget to change it back when you're done fixing your drive.
