New Around Here
Hi,

Long time reader here.... Been tinkering with routers for a long time now... DD-WRT and Asus most recently!

I used to have an account here, but looks like it is disabled for some reason.

Look forward to learning more from you all!

We've had to disable a number of compromised accounts these past few months, as they were used for posting spam. Most likely caused by password reuse.

I recommend contacting @thiggins with your original username if you'd like to regain the original account. He'll guide you through resetting the compromised password, if that was the issue.

Thanks Merlin, but that shouldn't be the case with mine (well, at least not due to password reuse... I don't even know the password.... that's what Password Managers are for :D (until the whole internet goes passwordless!)

Seeing a strange issue with this here. I had an SNB account for years. I could log in and change the password but then would see the following error message:

"Oops! We ran into some problems. Your account has been disabled."

I could then log out and faf about with trying to change the password again but couldn't get any further with this. My user name for that account was:

Phil Muir

No idea what I should try to do in order to get this resolved on the old SNB account.

As my message that you quoted says, you can reach out to @thiggins to regain access to your compromised account.
