Diversion High Process count for Diversion

I was working on learning AWK and stumbled onto a high count of Diversion processes using the command " ps | awk ' /Div/, count++ ;END{ print count}' "

I have 173 diversion processes. Is this normal?

uiDivStats is separate from Diversion (different authors). But it isn’t normal if they never go away.

Well...if they are just stats, I can do without it and will uninstall.

...and I got another process since the original post - so 174.

Wow..that applet was thrashing my router! My outbound traffic dropped by 2/3rds and cpu went back to single digits.
