High ram usage

Looking at my router stats I see my ASUS ac86u is using 75-85% of its ram. I also see high upload from my nest doorbell camera. 4 gb per day. Is the high ram usage related to the high upload? I assume the high upload from the nest is the data from the camera. Any tips to lower the ram usage? Running the updated firmware.

What will you do with the extra RAM once you get it back?

Check the Tools menu to see how much memory is allocated to buffers and cache. Your situation isn’t bad. It just “is.”

Linux will manage the memory when it’s needed.
