Hello everyone, I'm new in this forum. In this month I use a lot your amazing community for learn something about routers and try to find the best solution for me.
I'm in a rural area with a terrible internet connection (2 Mbps DW / 0.4 Mbps UP) so three years ago I decided to go for a 4G connection with an indoor device and my speed increase ten times in the worst case scenario (cell saturation). Now I am making futher step using an outdoor device including a powerfull antenna that give me a speed ranging from 50 to 100 Mbps.
This new device come only with an ethernet PoE port that comes in my house. The position of the cable enter in my house make it impossible for my old indoor 4G router to be use like an access point for his bad performance and coverage so I need to find a solution.
Reading the forum and with a budget (< € 70) I was thinking:
- Netgear R7800 (I could buy used for € 50 or less)
- Netgear R7000 (used for € 20) in AP mode for extend the wireless connection in not crucial area of the home
