Hi - I have a RT-AC87U, running Merlin 387.55, and I'm running Windows 10 with Chrome browser ...
I created some folders on a 16gig usb stick - through the Network Place (Samba) Share tab, but I now find that
I can't delete these folders using this same tab - it just says "Failed to delete shared folder"

I suspect the failure-to-delete, may be due to me formatting the usb as Ext4
(but Ext4 is recommended at https://www.asuswrt.eu/how-to-format-usb-drive)

I've tried dis-mounting & re-mounting the usb stick, also rebooting the router but to no avail
Obviously, as it's Ext4, I can't simply plug it into my Windows pc and delete the folders
I suppose I could re-format the usb stick again, but I would prefer not as there are other files on the usb

-any ideas ?

I bit the bullet, copied everything of the usb, and re-formatted it in situ (as ext4) - and now folder creation & deletion works ok

If you check the documentation for the N66 EXT3 is listed for use but not EXT4.
