How do I go from Merlin 376.47 to latest 378.xx?

I understand that the CFE partitions were increased from 32 to 64 for 376.xx to 378.xx.

Hadn't updated in awhile & usually use the Merlin fork's ASUS UI to update my firmware in the past.

Can someone provide an easy upgrade path for me please.
Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Flash 378.55, then do a factory default reset and manually reconfigure everything. And that's it.

Does it matter that it's on my AC68U?

No. Many of us are running the latest (378.55) firmware on RT-AC68Us. I guess what you have done is no different from flashing the latest firmware on a brand new RT-AC68U: it really doesn't matter what was on it before you flashed it. (The factory default reset is the important bit.)

Now sit back and enjoy it!

Awesome! Didn't know I could jump straight from 376.47 to 378.55.

Thanks RMerlin!

Only with Asus's firmwares, as their newer firmwares are too large to fit in the 32 MB FW partition, so you have to first flash one that's still below 32 MB and also has the CFE upgrade code in it. Even my latest firmwares are below 32 MB, so you an use them to upgrade to the latest, and it will also take care of upgrading the CFE.
