After days of trying to resolve the "Your ISP's DHCP does not function correctly" with my AC68U I am convinced that there is an issue with the firmware as I have tried many things and nothing works. Simply plugging in another non Asus router works perfectly (I have tried 3 of them Netgear, Cisco, TP Link) and none have this issue after a full week of operation. I have swapped the modem (Surfboard) and have factory reset the 68U and left it with default settings and with 36 hours I get the "Your ISP's DHCP does not function correctly" message and lose all internet. I have tried changing to Normal, Continuous and Aggressive with rebooting after each change and I still have this issue. I see by the many threads I am not alone and many people have simply given up and changed the router. I would like to go backwards with a stable firmware if possible.
What I would like to know is if it is possible to go back to a Merlin Firmware that was before AiMesh and if so how to get the firmware as I don't see older version on the download site.
Thank you
