So I got myself an 2nd hand Velodyne subwoofer. Yes it sound OT. But it is not.
My Velodyne DD10+ has an ethernet port, so of course I connected it to my network with a ethernet cable. The green and yellow LED on the port started blinking, and all seemed to work, except I have no idea which IP adress it uses. Nor do I know what MAC adress it has...
And here is why I post: Is there any way to get hold of an unknown MAC adress, and from that figure out what is most likely a static IP? I know what is connected on my network - so just a (very) long list of all MAC adresses would be enough - then I simply need to figure out what IP it seems to use?!
