How to get IPs behind an AP transparent to my Asus?

I have a beloved AC56U running Merlin, and the internet connection is shared to a neighboring building using two Ubiquiti Litebeam dishes to create a bridge, and an Ubiquiti UAP-AC-Lite access point to provide the wireless connection in that building. I have all the Ubiquiti gear in very simple, essentially default, configurations. I understand perhaps my problem is on the Ubiquiti side and solution needs to come from the Ubiquiti community forum... but, I thought I would start here first.

This is what I see when I look at my Client List, and the list of devices in the QOS section is the same:

As you can see, there is an "8" on the icon for the other building, which indicates the number of wireless clients on that network, but I would like to see each client with its IP and MAC in this list. Also strange, the name showing under "Clients Name" is the name I set to the MAC address of the remote Litebeam, but the IP doesn't match, the Litebeam has an IP of 192.168.1.4, and the AP has an IP of 192.168.1.5. So the IP address showing 192.168.1.161 must be of one of the wireless clients connected.

Any clues how I can make this all transparent to the router, so that I can see those wireless clients connected individually? Then I can also see and possibly adjust them in the QOS settings as well.

It actually worked this way around a year ago, so I know it's possible, but I have made a number of network changes over the past year and somehow I must have changed something affecting this.

Thank you

Turn off DHCP on the Ubiquiti
thank you for the reply! that would make sense, but I can't see DHCP turned on anywhere, do you mean in the AP or the bridge (all 3 pieces ubiquiti)? I've just scoured all three again and don't see any DHCP option turned on.

google isn't helping me find turning off DHCP for a unifi AP, these people are saying the APs can't do DHCP: https://community.ui.com/questions/Disabling-DHCP-UAP-AC-M/91597ea2-d103-458f-b664-e162ff2db7e1
